Qatar National Day celebrated in Tajikistan

Dushanbe. Thursday December 12, 2018. Qatar Embassy in Tajikistan celebrated the National Day of Qatar in Dushanbe Hyatt Regency.

In the commemoration event HE Mr. Hikmatullozoda Nematullo Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan participated as the chief guest and also HE Doctor Nizomiddin Zohidi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Ardasher Qodiri Head of Asia and Africa Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Suhrob Raupov Director of Dushanbe HD TV channel, most of foreign Ambassadors, Heads of International Organisations accredited to the Republic of Tajikistan, Senior stuff representing various government entities and Tajik journalists were also present.

During his speech on the occasion HE. Mr. Ibrahim bin Mohamed Al-Abdullah Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Tajikistan welcomed the distinct mutual relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the State of Qatar and also summoned up the most important achievements of the State of Qatar in its modern history due to its wise leadership and great people.

HE Excellency the Ambassador also referred to the current embargo crisis and said that Qatar benefited from the ongoing crisis positively: “Whether  this crisis lasts for long or short it thought us self reliance and confidence on our true friends”.

Then HE Mr. Hikmatullozoda Ne’matullo Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan delivered his speech on the occasion welcoming the Tajik-Qatar relations he emphasised on the importance and distinctions of the relations. According to him the mutual relations between the two countries witnessed sharp development in short period of time due to wise leadership of the both friendly countries also these relations accompanied with several official visits at the high level.

During the occasion a short video on the latest and the most important developments of the State of Qatar was displayed in English Language.
